Terms

1. The membership card is strictly personal and should not be transferred to third parties.
2. For members of the university community, the card is equivalent to the academic ID (pass). A special card is issued for external users of the Library.
3. Activation of the card must be carried out by showing the academic ID (pass) for the members of the university community or the ID/Parsport of the external user/visitor.
4. For the issuance of a user card, external users pay a one-time sum of 30 Euros.
5. In order for students to get a degree or be removed from their Department, they are required to obtain a certificate that they do not owe books or fines. Otherwise, in order to get the above certificate, they must return the books they have borrowed or replace them (if they have lost them) and pay the fines they owe.

Personal data management

The University of Patras, acting as Processor, collects, stores, uses and generally processes the personal data you provide with this application. Specifically, the data you provide is entered into the "Nireas" information system managed by the Library & Information Center of the University of Patras. BKP uses the personal data of its members for the following reasons:

• the control and processing of the necessary processes for the provision of its services to its members.
• its communication with its members for strictly official reasons (updates and reminders)
• the invitation to participate in evaluation surveys of its services.
